Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin Pop mainstream is influenced through his worldwide impact. Una Lady Como Tu from 2016 received the Colombian Kids Choice Award as the most popular Song for the year 2017. The year 2017 saw the release of ADN which was his debut long-player to La Industria Inc. in Medellin. This album peaked at 8 on the Top Latin Albums charts. In the following year, he became part of Ozuna to record their Top Five smash Vaina Loca. In the year 2020, he worked with Noriel for Mala Influencia and released the album Dopamina in the following year. In 2021, he sang a duet. the singer sang a duet 2021 alongside TINI on her hit song Maldita Foto. He appeared in 2023 with 2000, featuring the huge hit La Bachata. Turizo was born into a household of music both his parents are both musicians. In his interviews, he said his participation in music as compulsory. He learned how to play the guitar, saxophone ukulele, and piano as a young child. Despite initially wanting to be veterinarian, Julian convinced him that taking lessons with an Cuban singing teacher would change his direction in life.
